It occurs to me that I do a lot of model conversions and painting.  Why not share some of it?

Well, so much for this experiment.  =/    Not totally giving up on this though.  I keep it bookmarked in my toolbar so it's always there, silently mocking me.  I will start drawing again eventually.

The good news is what's been taking up my time.  I'm trying to learn/relearn the guitar.  Progress has been painfully slow, but I know these things take time.

Well, I've finished uploading all my old stuff that I know where to find.  Left out the stuff that I wasn't even proud of when I made it.   Even if they are mostly photos, I'm glad I finally got around to getting some of these saved digitally.  I just wish I did it before some of it got hit with water damage.  No clue when or where it happened or even how since other artwork and posters stored in the same place had no issues.

I've also uploaded pictures from my more recent sketch book.  I'm hoping doing all this will inspire me to pick up drawing again rather than just spending so much of my free time on the computer.  Kind of like how I just did tonight while uploading all these images...  Seems to be a flaw in this plan.

The comments I received today were a very pleasant surprise.  I was starting to wonder if I was only going to be visited by bots.  To have real people checking out my artwork within a couple days of opening the account is really cool.

Started uploading some old scans from my sketchbook back in high school.  I've come a long way since then.  I'm going in the wrong direction, but at least I'm going somewhere.

Really not crazy about Deviant Art making me categorize everything I up load.  I'm really not thinking about labels when I decide to draw stuff so it's not very easy to label it after the fact.

I seem to be getting a small flood of notifications since I started uploading.   Are these just bots or did someone really see my 3D stick man and think to themselves, "now there's a guy that deserves a llama!"
